Obituary of James Francis Munday

James Francis Munday, 78, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Mr. Munday was born October 4, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Harold J. and the late Julia (nee Romeo) Munday.

He is survived by his beloved wife Karen Anne (nee Fenk) Munday.

Devoted father of James, Michael (Marian), Robert (Jade) and Thomas (Linsey.)

Cherished grandfather of Malia, Jessica, Michael John, Isabella, Robert, Matthew, Jaylee, Caiden and Kensie.

Brother to Patricia Parlow (Robert) and Maureen Montebianco (the late Joseph.)

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Mr. Munday's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Calling hours will be Sunday, May 7 from 2:00-7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 am on Monday, May 8 at Good Shepherd RC Church, 2992 Avenue S, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial to immediately follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.
