On this Day
when we gather to pay tribute to this house, that has housed your spirit for these many years.
When I shall see you no more in this physical form.
I remember you.
I remember your voice, your laughter, your dancing, your joy and your many years of difficulties throughout your life. Your life has always been colored by difficulties. Despite that, you were one very unique and dynamic lady. You may have been average in statue, but you were a gigantic dynamo who never backed down from anyone or anything. You took counsel from no one despite the difficulties that brought you. You created your own path and truly did it your way.
Mother: Enid Clare Samuels, on this day I bid you the final farewell.
On this last day of your physical form.
I wish you peace.
I wish you comfort.
I implore you to soar high, soar deep and soar wide.
Embrace the journey and revel in your return home.
Celebrate and relish your return to the Dharma Kaya.
I will always love and honor our time together.
I will always honor your memory.
So, until that fateful day, when it is my time to cross that bridge,
I bid you farewell for now.
Rest In Peace mother.
Your first-born: Kafinch

Grief weighs heavy upon the heart upon learning of Enid's passing. As children in Jamaica, fond memories were shared as we grew up together, residing with our families who were dear friends. From playing cherished games of hide and seek to how she would kindly comb my hair, her laughter and unwavering smile proved a testament to her loving and caring nature. Enid will be deeply missed by all who knew her during her life journey. My deepest condolences to her family. Enid is gone, but will never be forgotten. R.I.P.

Enid's kind heart and gentle soul brought a ray of sunshine into our lives. Her warm smile will be dearly missed, but her memory will continue to live on in our hearts. May God guide her on this journey home, as she rests peacefully until we are reunited once more.

My dearest grandmother, my Nana, I’m not okay. But I feel you everywhere and know that each day that passes will get better. I know grandpa came for you, and I know any suffering you had is now over and you’re at rest. I’ll always love you too. Soon come.
