Obituary of Ann Marie O'Brien

Ann Marie O'Brien of Rockaway Beach, New York passed away on July 17, 2023.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.

Ann was born at Long Island College Hospital to James and Louise O'Brien on January 31, 1957. She went to high school at St. Edmunds Prep and graduated in 1974. She went on to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education from Brooklyn College. Ann worked as a teacher for P.S. 217 for 10 years. Ann enjoyed spending time with her cat Mischief and watching the beach from her terrace.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Louisa (David) Urban, of Pocono Summit, PA, her sister Veronica (Carl) O'Brien-Powell, of St. John U.S.V.I, and grandchildren Louisa Elizabeth Urban and Thomas Urban. Ann is preceded in death by her father James O'Brien, and mother Louise O'Brien. Ann Marie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
