Obituary of Dorothea R. Kamna

Dorothea R. Kamna, age 90, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023. Mrs. Kamna was born January 29, 1933, in Manhattan, NY. She is the daughter of the late Giacinto and the late Catherine (nee Mortorano) Puleo. She is predeceased by her late husband Harry A. Kamna.

She is survived by her children Helen Simonson, Harry Kamna and Ann Schmidberger.

Cherished grandmother of Jaime, James, Amanda, Andrew, Lisa, LauraAnn and Austin.

Beloved great grandmother of Thomas, Isabella, Nicholas, Deirdre, Giuliana, Santino, Henry, Riley, Maeve and Jack.

Calling hours will be Monday, October 9 from 2:00 – 5:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October10 at 9:30AM at Resurrection R.C. Church, 2331 Gerritsen Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial to immediately follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
