Debra Reeder

Obituary of Debra D. Reeder

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra D. Reeder, who left us peacefully at the age of 77 on May 30, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Ira and Anna Rothberg, Debra lived a life filled with love, dedication, and cherished memories.

In 1966, Debra married the love of her life, Eugene Reeder. Their marriage, lasting over 34 years until Eugene's passing in 2000, was a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Together, they raised two wonderful daughters, Danna Reeder and Jeanann Clark, who brought immense joy to Debra's life.

Debra was a devoted sister to her late brother, Melvin Rothberg. She lovingly cared for him throughout his life, showcasing her unwavering dedication and compassion. As a grandmother, Debra's love knew no bounds, and she found great happiness in her grandchildren, Sophia and Reed.

Debra had a special fondness for butterflies, finding beauty and peace in their delicate grace. Yellow roses held a significant place in her heart, being the first flowers Eugene bought her during their courtship. Debra also had a passion for baking, delighting family and friends with her delicious treats, each one made with love.

Debra's warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and all who knew her will be deeply missed. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to live through her daughters and grandchildren.
