Obituary of John L. O'Connor

John L. O'Connor, age 81, of Brooklyn passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. John was born May 15, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Charles L. and the late Jessie M. (Bink) O'Connor. Loving husband of Lorraine M. (Koch) O'Connor. Beloved father of John L. O'Connor and Kevin E. O'Connor.

God saw you were getting tired,

and a cure was not to be,

so he put his arms around you

and whispered, "Come to me".

With tearful eyes we watched you,

and saw you pass away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

hard working hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.

Reposing Friday, September 27 from 2:00 - 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Funeral on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

Procession to form and depart the funeral home at 9:30 AM.

Burial to be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
