What more can I say? Karen you are unique and will live on in our memories. Looking at the photos of you brings smiles to my face and tears to my eyes. Though the last day we saw each other was graduation in 76 it feels like yesterday. Connecting with you on classmates and then facebook was so easy and joyful all because of you. We will all miss your physical precesence. Your warm heart and kind smile lives on.

Karen was a rare gem in the world. She was one of the most thoughtful, kind, fun loving and big hearted people I have ever known, nothing was ever too much trouble if it would help you and I wish she would have allowed us to help her in the same way. I miss our spontaneous forages to pull together dinner, but we always found a glass of wine. I know that she is in good hands and will finally find out the secret of making stir fry. Dear friend, you are missed and rest in peace.

My special friend... I get to the office now, look at my phone, but it doesn't ring - how I miss our morning talks. You helped me more than you know. I tear up knowing I will not hear your voice, your stories that would always make me laugh and mostly our friendship. You were an amazing person and I am so fortunate to have known you. Rest in peace my friend...

She was a needle in a haystack, one of those people you rarely find. I admired her honesty and loved her integrity. She was a gem, an absolute doll. Her memory will live on in my mind as I strive to be more like her. I will take the lessons she taught me with me through my life and hopefully touch someone's heart as she has touched mine. She will be missed, she will always be loved, and will never be forgotten.

This space cannot possibly be big enough for me to list all of the things about you I will hold so dear to my heart. As far back as I can remember you were instrumental in so many fun times in my life. As a kid you were an awesome Aunt who was always so generous to all of us. You also took no crap from us. I only wish you could tell my kids to behave or you would rip their lips off their face! You traveled around the world and had awesome stories to tell. As I became an adult you became a friend. I hope you know how much you are loved and how deeply you will be missed.
I love you.
