...petite Aunt Prue, soft spoken, had a sweetness about her. I rarely remember her raising her voice. If she did, her words were the first,
middle and last name of her son: Don. In the summer of 1969- my sister & I stayed with the Mortifoglio family (our parents were in Califonia) Uncle Steve took us to the pool @ the "Y" cousin Judy played monopoly with us & Don? Well I can still hear his full name ringing in my ears (just kidding) There were complaints, cries and discipline- but Aunt Prue was patient, understanding & kind. She loved us with schedules & cared about us with charts (said endearingly)
...Aunt Prue with her apron on, stirring Ragu sauce with a wooden spoon. Memories were made that July-thank you. Ciao bella

I have such wonderful, fond memories of my dear Aunt Prue.
She was one of the sweetest, gentleness & most kind person I ever knew and a shining smile to warm your heart! Always in the kitchen cooking and ready to feed you at all times of the day. I have a little chair that had belonged to Aunt Prue and it always gives me precious thoughts of her on a daily basis and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
We once again extend our deepest sympathies to Donald, Judy & families and hope it's the peace of no more suffering for Aunt Prue that brings all of you great comfort.
Love, Cousin Debbie, Steve, Greg & Stephanie

I remember, always thinking my mom was tiny until I met Aunt Prue. She was soft spoken and a gracious woman. I remember mom and aunt Prue sitting around grandma Argento's kitchen table laughing as they all spoke in Italian. Aunt Prue, holds a special place in my heart because, she smiled hugged you and had a kind word

There are so many fond memories of Aunt Prue. What a coincidence that se died at the same age as my mother, mary, her oldest sister. I can remember going to radio city music hall in manhattan with her to see the Christmas show. I loved when we would all gather at grandma and grandpas house and aunt Prue would redecorate. She would always make me feel so special. Many times she would love when we would visit her in NJ and she specially loved playing with the twins. She was always loved and will be missed.

In remembrance of my sister Prue! When I was growing up I remember She was like a second Mother to Julie & Me.
I can remember when Prue was determined to learn how to drive. Back then it was rare, for a woman to drive. It wasn't easy learning on a stick shift and clutch but she managed to get her 2 feet to work at once. Pops car was so large it looked like a monster car to Julie & Me.
I remember Thanksgivings while Mom was preparing dinner, Prue would take Me & Julie on the trolley car to the train into N.Y.C., to see the "Macy's Day Parade". Prue would make us dress up in our best clothes and we would stand there in our pretty dresses and anklets FREEZING!
Another time there was the "Worlds Fair" at Flushing Meadows Park". Prue was having as much fun as we were seeing all the exciting attractions.
Best of all as we grew up and had Families of our own,
Prue had Donald & Judy. I had Philly who would go to Sammy's for the summer and when Lou & I went on vacation,
Prue would offer to watch Rose and Theresa. Till this very day my daughters remember if they didn't behave,
their Aunt Prue would would sit them at the table with an open dictionary, paper and pencil and told them to write 2 pages of words.(ha-ha)
We all had good times when we visited Her in Cherry Hill, N.J.
and you could always count on Her & Steve to attend all the Parties, Weddings, Showers etc.
My older sister Prue who we Loved will be Missed.

As far back as I can remember, my earliest and fondest memories of Aunt Prue came when I was very young. "La Familia" always seemed to get together for holidays at Grandma & Grandpa on East 53rd street in Brooklyn. As all the cousins played together outside the Aunts & Uncles would Celebrate inside. I vividly remember Aunt Prue having to constantly cross her legs as my Dad(Lou) would make her laugh with his jokes.
As time went on we would visit them in "Cherry Hill" in N.J. during the summer when pop was on vacation. All and all I would say may Aunt was a gentle soul, patient in many ways, a good cook, and firm believer that heaven exists and that's how she lived.
I know in my heart that she is surrounded by Family that departed before her as they partake in a Banquet in the house of Our Lord God and heavenly Father.
((REST IN PEACE AUNT PRUE))

Remembering Aunt Prue, first let me say how sorry i am that i will not be able to attend Aunt prue's service on Monday. My health is not the best yet. but i'm coming along. My memories of Aunt Prue are so sweet and honorable. She was a very talented lady, always keeping busy especially when visiting Grandma and Grandpas house in Brooklyn. I remember her painting and putting up new wallpaper and many other chores. Her children Donald and Judy reflect her personality, gentleness, and Caring. I say so long to a very special Lady. Until we all meet again... Love, Theresa and Frank Ray

I will never forget my beautiful Aunt, she was so warm, loving and giving. My fondest memories are of us all together at Grandpa and Grandma's house in Brooklyn. We shared many wonderful times together there. But my greatest joy was of being at my Aunt's Wedding, it was so beautiful and my sisters and I were so happy to be part of such a special day. She will always be in my heart. Albie

I can remember Aunt Prue as almost a second Mom to our family, growing up in Rochester, and when we visited in Brooklyn. She was always fun, and filled the day with energy, family activities and love. She had a great dry wit about her, and was always kidding us but always was focused on family. Her testimony to all of that are her kids (our wonderful cousins Don & Judy, and their spouses/families) We will miss her. Dan & Mary Pat Catan and kids
