I have so many fond memories of Auntie Rose. I remember how she always used Ponds cold cream. It must have worked because she always looked good! I remember our trip to Flat Bush Avenue. Your parents opened up their home to us even though you were living in very cramped quarters at the time. Didn't matter, as we all had a lovely visit together!!! I loved the way Aunt Rose said my name. I miss hearing that, but still can hear it in my memory. It's so very hard to lose our parents, but now they are all together, with their mom & dad. They will be waiting for us to join them someday, when we can all rejoice together in the Kingdom of God. Take care dear cousins. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. With much love from Kansas.

Dear Sasso Cousins:
Such sad news the end of the first generation of the Horun family which I was fortunate to be very involved. My memories of Auntie Rose are many and I will cherish forever. I will sign off as she always did "XO". God Bless each of you.
Cousin Gloria

Mrs. Sasso was the greatest! After my own mother died, I would visit with and share memories of the old days. She helped me get through tough times.

Our hearts and prayers go out to you at this time. I, too, remember your visits back to Pa in the summer. Auntie Rose was special. I always enjoyed talking to her. She always ended her phone conversations with "I love you." May she rest in a well-deserved peace.

I have many fond memories of when Aunt Rose and family would visit "back home" during the summer. After 95 years, she deserves to rest and be reunited with Uncle Al and her mother, father, brothers and sisters. They are now all celebrating together. She was a beautiful, loving lady. We will all miss you, Auntie Rose.
