I only knew of Mr. DeMatteis through the words of his loving daughter, Karen. She so admired and adored her father, and through Karen, we were able to get to know him, too. He gave so much of his time and talent to helping others, and to making this world a better place for so many. His strong faith is carried on in his children, and grandchildren. His grandson, Dane, already so accomplished himself, will continue the legacy of his grandfather, I'm sure. Mr. DeMatteis, your light will not be extinguished - it will continue. Love is as strong as death, Karen - remember this. We are all only here for the blink of an eye in terms of eternity - our true Home lies elsewhere. Please know that you have our love, support, and prayers. God is with you, as is His beloved Most Blessed Mother.
