It was my good fortune to know Angeline for many years as a fellow librarian at NYPL. It also was my good luck to be the Coordinator of the Donnell Library Center during Angeline's tenure as Head of the Central Children's Room. Her dedication to carrying out and expanding the multifaceted services of the Central Children's Room was extraordinary. I admired Angeline's important work with Local 1930, our library union, as well. Angeline's honesty, good will and sense of humor were some of the qualities that helped make us friends. I will miss her, and I will always remember her. My sympathies to her family and close friends.

I am sad to learn of the passing of Angeline Moscatt and extend my sympathy to her family. I worked for Miss Moscatt at the Donnell Central Children's Room for about a year and a half in the mid-1980s. She was a good boss and a dedicated, knowledgeable, and helpful librarian and mentor. I was working there as a children's librarian when the Winnie-the-Pooh stuffed animals first arrived, and I remember that as an amazing and very special event, which delighted us all!

Angeline was a wonderful person - so steady and good natured. I was always happy to be with her. She's one of the people I miss most now that I live on the west coast. Rest in peace, my dear.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Aunt Angeline. She was a witty, intelligent, and loving person. We will miss her intellect, sense of adventure, and continuous love for her family. With honor and gratitude, a gift to the cause, she dedicated her life to, the enrichment of children and the advancement of their creativity and love of books, has been made to the New York Public Libraries designated to support Children's Programs.
Peace

So sorry for your loss.. The Bible holds out hope for our dear love ones.. The Bible book of Revelation 21 :4 gives us hope. This scripture tells us that death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.. Looking forward to that time promised to us from our God. So sorry for your loss..

Angeline will always be remembered by me as a sweet, kind, gentle, loving woman. Her earthly footprint was "soft and quiet" but her conversations with me always had a point of interest that I hadn't thought of previously. I know James enjoyed her company also. I'm sure her entry into Heaven was a joyous occasion. May she forever rest in the "arms of Jesus". Good bye, Angeline, till we meet again.
