I will hold your Mom and the memories I have of her in my heart. She was a wonderfully kind, funny and sweet woman who took care of me like I was one of her own. I will never forget the wonderful smells emanating from her kitchen and her joy in making sure I had something to eat, always, even if we had already come back from lunch. A great lady. A great Brooklyn Mom to the kids like us who were lucky to know her. May she rest in peace, in light and in love.

I first met Tita Nea in Brooklyn and she welcomed me as part of her family. From then whenever we visit NYC, we always come to visit her, and she always presents us with good food. She's a caring Tita, she's so sweet and so accommodating. She can crack jokes and can make you laugh. She loves her family specially her grand kids. I will never forget her and I will keep remembering all the memories we had together. Tita/Ninang Nea, you will always be in my heart. Say "hi" to Ate Ayette. We love you and rest now.

We are so sorry for the loss of Mama. She was a wonderful woman who loved her family and grand children very much. She always held a cheerful disposition and as kind and gentle as she was, she was also incredibly strong and determined. She battled cancer for a long time to be able to spend as much time on this earth with her husband, Joe, and her children and grandchildren. I always remember coming over where she was very often making food for her family. When I was pregnant she made me her delicious lumpia- which I did not want to share. She was a fantastic cook. She had a wonderful marriage and gave advice to never go to bed angry. She will be sorely missed by all and is truly an angel who will be watching down on her husband and family.

I first met Mrs. Foronda at Jay’s wedding. He and I lived in the same condominium complex in Alexandria and I helped his family buy their first home. I was seated at the Foronda’s table and I remember Jay’s mother as a very upbeat and friendly lady. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
